Dovecote Events

Unusual and interesting venue, in the sense that ceremonies are held in a barn, but tipis are used for receptions. The barn is better than most because it’s not too dark – there are windows, so there is enough light on the couple. Beware of the yellow tint on all the photos taken inside the tipis, but any good photographer will be able to colour correct them to make skin look natural. Otherwise, plenty of open space around to take wide angle photos, and some nice little spaces for more intimate portraits – it’s a good venue overall from the photo/video point of view.
