What area do you cover and do you charge travel expenses?
We will not charge you for our travel expenses if your wedding is within 100 miles from Didcot (OX11), our home town. This covers the South, some of the South West and some of the Midlands. Otherwise, we will photograph your wedding anywhere in the UK or abroad, provided you cover our travel expenses. They will be very reasonable – if we drive to your wedding, you will just need to reimburse the petrol. If it’s abroad, we will only ask you to cover economy flights, airport transfers, insurance and an inexpensive accommodation.
What if I have to postpone my wedding due to COVID19 or similar reasons beyond my control?
We will do our very best to reschedule your wedding for the new date. There will be no extra charges.
Do you shoot the photos and video at the same time? How does that work?
There are two of us, so yes, we can (and often do, for example during the ceremony) take both photos and video simultaneously. Both of us can switch between photo or video, so even when we are separated (for example during the morning prep, when one is with the bride and the other is with the groom), we can both still capture photo and video on each side, simply switching between photo and video every few minutes.
Do we need to pay the full fee before the wedding?
When making a booking we will ask you to pay a £100 non-refundable deposit. Then one month prior to wedding day you will need to pay the balance of the package minus £200, and the final payment of £100 is due after we deliver your online gallery. Example: for the Album £1420 package you would pay a £100 deposit to book the date, then £1220 one month before the wedding, and then £100 after the wedding, when you’ve received your online gallery.

For the Micro-Wedding and Digital packages we will need to have the full balance before the wedding (there is no final payment after the wedding).

It is also possible to pay in monthly instalments.

How do we book you?
Simply contact us: fill out the contact form, or send an email, or just give us a call. We will normally get back to you within a few hours, or the next day at the latest. We will then exchange a few emails, discussing the details of your wedding. You may or may not want to meet us before you book; either way is fine, although having a face-to-face meeting before the wedding is helpful in many ways. If/when you decide you want to go ahead, you’ll just need to pay a £100 deposit and sign a contract. Once the deposit is paid – the date is yours.
Do you shoot LGBT+ weddings?

Yes we do, we believe love is love and will gladly shoot for an LGBT+ wedding. There are examples of same sex weddings we have shot in the Weddings section if you want to look.

Are there any hidden charges?
There are no hidden charges. If you are happy with what’s included in the package, the price of the package is the price you will pay. You will not need to pay our expenses, VAT or anything else. If you want to order additional products, not included in the package – we will always give you a clear indication of the cost in advance.
Can we meet in person?
Absolutely. We would love to meet you both before you book, or at any other time.
Do you use drones?
Yes, we have a drone and use it for both photo and video. Some venues are fussy about drones, so if aerial footage is important for you, please let us know and we will explain the details.
I hate posing, is that a problem?
No, that’s not a problem at all. We both prefer naturally looking portraits and know how to achieve that look. Can you cuddle up with your fiancée? If you can do that, that’s all the posing you will need. It might also be helpful to have a pre-wedding photo shoot in this respect: you will get used to being photographed by us, which will help you both to not feel awkward on the wedding day. This is completely optional, of course.
What does 'editing' or 'retouching' mean?
Please have a look at our Editing and Retouching page.
When will the photos be ready?
Please have a look at our Waiting Time page.
What's your booking / shooting / post-processing workflow?
Please have a look at Our Workflow page.
What about copyright?
You will own the full rights to your photographs. No licensing nonsense; your photos are yours – full stop. If you allow us to use them for marketing purposes (show them on social media, etc.) – we will be grateful, but that’s completely optional.
Do you always work together?
Yes, we are an inseparable team and always work together. We capture the whole day from two different angles – both for variety, and for peace of mind. We can split between different jobs, of course – for example, in the morning one can photograph the bride getting ready, and the other will photograph the groom. But we will always come together to a wedding.
Will you have backup gear on the day?
Yes, we will have a spare camera, lenses and lighting equipment in case something breaks down. Not that we need it too often though – we use very reliable, professional equipment.
Do you use lighting equipment?
Sometimes. We will use natural light where the light is good, but will switch to strobes when it gives us better results.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we are fully covered.
I can't find my question here?
Please don’t hesitate to contact us – we will be happy to answer any questions at all.
